Features of iOS 16: innovations and first impressions
During its last presentation event, Apple unveiled a novelty to the public in the form of iOS 16. Knowing the peculiarities of the Apple operating system, this version has really created a furor. The novelty has a lot of system bugs so far. In particular, there are nuances when changing the wallpaper, as well as with design elements. Older iPhone models were smaller, and therefore such an arrangement did not cause discomfort. With the latest releases, it was already really uncomfortable.
The new version of the OS has moved the controls downwards. Notifications have also moved there. There is a decent grouping of them in a neat stack. The number can be viewed or the complete list can be pulled out. The search bar has also moved down. By the way, the keyboard has started to vibrate when the user types.
Interesting features
The first feature will be to the liking of those who like to take a large number of shots, but do not like then clean the smartphone from unnecessary. The OS will now take care of that. It has been trained to detect duplicates, which it will put in a separate album. The user will browse through it, and if he agrees with the OS’s choice, he simply deletes everything.
Sharing images has become so much easier. All you have to do is upload all the camera products into a separate album generated in iCloud. Up to six users can share their experiences there. Content can be uploaded manually or automatically.
AirPods headphones will now be easier to connect. Previously they were located in the Connected Bluetooth Devices tab. In the new OS, they have moved to the main menu. It seems to be nothing special, but it will be more convenient to keep track of the status of the headphones, and just easier to find, given that they are used quite often.
iOS 16 also got a feature called “quick notes”. You can now quickly create a small note by adding an icon to the “Control Point” column. This eliminates the need to search for a special application on the mobile device.
